Bill Durnil, PT

Bill joined Rockford Spine Center in 2009 with more than 15 years of experience in physical therapy and sports medicine. He holds a master’s degree in sports medicine from the U.S. Sports Academy and a master’s in physical therapy from the University of Iowa and is a doctoral candidate at Texas Tech studying manual orthopedic physical therapy. Bill is a certified orthopedic manual therapist and certified athletic trainer. He has earned additional certifications in augmented soft tissue mobilization and medically based exercise therapy. Bill is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists and International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine – US. Bill believes that patients are an important part of their own care team. “I really want to educate my patients and have them actively involved in their care. I provide an individualized care plan based on their diagnosis and assessment. And if I can help give them the understanding and motivation to succeed, that’s when they get the greatest benefit from our work together.” Bill lives in Roscoe with his wife and two children. When he’s not working, Bill enjoys running and volunteering with his church and children’s schools. |
Phil Oliveri, PT

Phil is a native of the Rockford area. He joined Rockford Spine Center in 2009 after working for more than 10 years in both private practice and hospital settings here in Rockford. Prior to that, Phil had worked in Michigan and Hawaii. Phil earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Michigan. He is a certified orthopedic manual therapist and member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Phil strives to treat each patient with honesty and compassion. “Coming from a family of educators, helping my patients understand their injuries is as important as any other treatment or service I can provide. My goal is to give patients the knowledge and understanding for continued improvement and work with them to reach their greatest physical potential.” Away from work, Phil enjoys mountain bike racing and running, and is active in the Rockford Road Runners club. He has a wife and two children. |
