Rockford Spine Center will continue to serve as a member of the Rockford IceHogs Medical Network for the 2019-2020 season. Michael Roh, M.D., Christopher Sliva, M.D., Fred Sweet, M.D., and Marie Walker, M.D. are members of the secondary medical network as the team’s orthopedic spine specialists.

This network includes nearly 50 medical providers and covers two distinct divisions of physician care and medical support as part of the Chicago Blackhawks organization. The primary medical network and the secondary subspecialty network provide medical care necessary to uphold standards set forth by the National Hockey League (NHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL).

“We are proud to provide orthopedic spine care to the Rockford IceHogs for the eighth year in a row. We are happy to be selected as the spine care experts and be able to partner with other Rockford-area medical providers to ensure a comprehensive level of care for the players,” said Dr. Michael Roh, Rockford Spine Center President.

Rockford Spine Center has been a member of the team’s medical network since 2012. RSC physicians are proficient in complex spinal disorders, including disc herniation, degenerative and arthritic disease of the spine, scoliosis, spinal deformity, spinal fractures, spine trauma, and spinal cord injury.
